This three classroom nursery building was built on a slope which gives it an imposing presence. Easy access has been maintained through the use of ramps that make use of the contours of the terrain.
The grey Upvc windows and aluminium doors contrast well with the cedar cladding.
The large windows and glazed doors open onto a covered decking area which in turn leads to outdoor play areas. The decking uses Metsawood’s Walksure decking with an attractive EPDM rubber crumb non-slip surface and has post protectors fitted around the canopy supports.
In addition to the three classrooms, facilities include toilets for adults, pupils and wheelchair users and a kitchenette.
